The learning journal

3 min read

The daily log is your checkbox. The learning journal is your story. It is optional, but it is one of the loveliest parts of Pandisha, and many parents find themselves reaching for it more than they expected.

What a journal entry holds

A journal entry captures what you did and what your child actually learned, written in your own words. You can add subject tags and attach photos of finished work, so the moment is kept exactly as it happened.

How it differs from the log

Where the daily log answers "did it happen," the journal answers "what was it like." A breakthrough on reading, a hard day made easier, a question your child asked that surprised you. Small notes now become a record you will treasure later.

It works for you later

Journal entries feed your portfolio reports, and any photos you attach pair naturally with work samples. Nothing you write here is wasted.

Write as much or as little as you like. Even one sentence is enough to bring a day back to life.
