Privacy Policy
Pandisha is a homeschool management tool built by CV Learning, a small company started by two dads whose families homeschool. This policy describes what we store and why. The short version: your family's data is yours, we don't sell it, and we collect only what the product needs to work.
What we store
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (argon2id). We never store plaintext passwords.
- Homeschool records: the children, activities, journal entries, plans, milestones, and work-sample photos you create. They are visible only to accounts in your household.
- AI provider keys (optional): if you bring your own AI key, it is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only to run your family's AI features.
- Google Drive access (optional): if you connect Google Drive, we store an encrypted refresh token. Pandisha uses Google's most limited Drive permission (drive.file): we can only see and manage files and folders that Pandisha itself creates or that you explicitly pick. We cannot browse your Drive.
How AI features work
When you use AI features (plans, briefs, reports), the relevant slice of your homeschool records is sent to the AI provider (your own, if you added a key; otherwise Anthropic under our account) to generate the result. We do not use your data to train models, and our providers are used under terms that do not permit training on this data.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not read your Google Drive beyond what Pandisha creates or what you pick.
- We do not show ads.
Sharing you control
Household invites and school-coach sharing are actions you take explicitly. Sharing your work-samples folder with a coach uses Google Drive's own permission system on a folder in your Drive, and you can revoke it any time from Settings.
Deletion
Email [email protected] from your account email and we will delete your account and all associated records. Disconnecting Google Drive removes our access immediately; files already in your Drive remain yours.
